Geoinformation in Villach has been established as the very
first training course in a "Fachhochschule" (similar to a college)
in Austria, which focuses on advanced technologies for processing spatial information.
In 2002/2003 Josef Benedikt taught on foundations and possible applications
of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic in Geographic Information Processing.
From 2006 to 2008 Josef Benedikt taught advanced geotechnology on Spatial Decision Support System (SDSS).
